Some of us are far from knowing what a church is. Well, I don’t know what to call your local assembly. May be at best we can say it’s a social gathering, as someone rightly said “after Facebook it’s church”. And when you speak in this manner here, beware they will scourge you in their synagogue. Some time ago a young boy ate cocoyam and said it was yam. That’s what we have made out of the church. It’s badly twisted that we have completely lost it flavor and definition in every sense. Simplicity, beauty, power, fellowship is out of it. It has been hijacked and sincere seekers cries out ‘they have taken my Lord and I know not where they laid Him. Ardent lovers of our Lord, religious fanatic or extremist as they choose to call them, still seek and yell at the top of their voices to restore sanity to our father’s house. What do we have left for our children? How can the bride of Christ be so flamboyantly adorn till she has lost her identity, and men are force to believe what we see ...

As I embark upon this study, there were in my heart practically some idols which made me at first to give up because I never found what my heart was expecting. The bible gave so little of that which I thought wisdom to be. Firstly, I thought wisdom was chiefly in learning, knowledge, understanding, skills, tactics, inventions, which actually in part it is. To make it more clear, the major confusion I had was in the type of knowledge, understanding, and learning wisdom offers. Without hesitating, I will like to open to us the anatomy of wisdom as found in the scriptures and the great benefit of possessing this wisdom. Knowing what wisdom is, is crucial to receiving it. MEET MIKE Rick was impressed with that little testimony. He wanted similar favour in his life. He wished he was well connected to someone at the top, off course not God. He was sure God wouldn’t do that for him. He’d a faint idea of God and believes little in his existence. God was out of it because they were millions of miles apart. The major concern at this time was to secure a good employment. He needed to take care of his aging parents and his younger siblings who were already placing an indirect demand on him. He’d thought these were just his thoughts not until his colleague Tome Bone bent over to ask ‘what’s next after graduation’? It gave some confidence seeing he wasn’t alone. Even the well to do student were trouble considering what the society has turned. He considered many options among the additional challenge was that he wasn’t sure what he wanted for himself. Rick was sitting at the first row in the class yet he wasn’t following the discussion. It was the last days of the last academic semester. Everyone was preparing for the next big thing in life. He wasn’t sure there was any big thing after college. the occupying question while he sat at that front row was ‘what's next’? He’d struggled a lot through life. He knew if something good has to happen to him again there had to be some miracle. He barely had a chance of surviving in life considering his background and little privileges.
